Getting to Know Me: A Brief Introduction to My Writing Journey

I have been publishing for a year now. I just celebrated my 1 year publiversary (I don't know if that is a thing, but I'm making it one.) on November 30, 2023. I discovered romantic shorts when I was hired as a ghostwriter, and instantly fell in love with the fast paced, instant love, swoon worthy heroes.

I love to read, AVID reader, but sometimes I wouldn't read because I didn't have the time to get to the HEA and I needed it now. So, short romance gives it to me in an instant. And I haven't been able to look back.

Behind the Scenes: The Writing Process and Daily Life of a Short Romance Author

I'm fortunate enough to be a full time author right now. I do still ghostwrite, but as long as I'm writing and building my business everyday, then I'm a happy little author. Since this is the case, I get to make my own schedule (unless there's a deadline-eek), I get to wear my pajama's all day, then shower and change into a fresh pair. (It's glorious.) And I get to Zoom with my author friends where we will sprint together and help with plot holes, or sticky situations.

It's been a dream come true for me and I'm truly blessed.

I don't know exactly what will be coming up ahead. Whereas with my books I have to outline and know the plot somewhat before I write, here, I'm just playing it by ear. Lol.
